Sail the Legendary Arctic Passages
The Northwest Passage

The Northeast Passage

A Journey Like No Other
Join us on an extraordinary journey through two of the most remote and storied sea routes in the world. The Northwest Passage weaves its way through the high Arctic, linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans across a labyrinth of ice, fjords, and islands. Long sought by explorers, this passage now offers adventurous sailors a rare opportunity to witness a landscape that is as breathtaking as it is unforgiving.
The Northeast Passage stretches across the Russian Arctic, linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans along the northern coast of Eurasia. Winding past vast tundra, remote archipelagos, and the edge of drifting pack ice, this fabled route has long captivated explorers and adventurers alike.
To sail the Northeast and the Northwest Passage today is to embrace the pure spirit of discovery — following in the wake of explorers, pioneers, and the Inuit and Chukchi peoples who have navigated these waters for millennia. These routes are a living story of exploration, resilience, and the meeting of cultures and nature.
These passages have been completed by only a limited number of sailing yachts—approximately 400 for the Northwest Passage and fewer than 10 for the Northeast Passage. Each voyage is a rare achievement, demanding respect for ice, weather, and remoteness. For those who make the journey, it is both a privilege and a challenge — offering memories, and a sense of accomplishment, that last a lifetime.
Join us as we attempt to sail one — or both — of these legendary Arctic passages, for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure at the top of the world.
S/Y Quest
Custom Built Expedition Yacht for Arctic Conditions

Quest is no ordinary sailing yacht. Designed and built by Captain Goeran, she was conceived from the keel up as a true expedition vessel, capable of thriving in the world’s harshest environments.
What truly sets Quest apart is her construction. Her welds are certified to Level 4 — the same standard required for icebreakers — ensuring maximum hull integrity in icy waters. She has been surveyed and approved by the Swedish Maritime Authority for safe operations in the most extreme regions on Earth, including the Southern Ocean and Antarctica.
Quest is also built for comfort as much as safety. With four inches of insulation, central heating, and floor heating throughout, she offers warmth even in the most unforgiving polar conditions.
