QUEST
OCEAN EXPEDITIONS

From the tropical waters of the Caribbean to the icy reaches of the Arctic
Spitsbergen, Arctic Svalbard
Kongs Fjorden
The first charter with Quest. Arctic Svalbard (Spitsbergen) 2011
The first charter expedition to Svalbard marked a defining milestone for Quest. After sailing north from Scandinavia in early April, the yacht set course for the high Arctic, entering a landscape shaped by ice, and light.
Over the course of the expedition, the guests experienced dramatic fjords framed by towering glaciers, endless daylight under the midnight sun, and close encounters with Arctic wildlife. Walrus resting along the shoreline, seals drifting between ice floes, and seabird colonies lining the cliffs. One highlight was the polar bear swimming alongside.
Calm evenings in sheltered fjords alternated with powerful scenes of calving glaciers and moving pack ice.
The voyage combined exploration, seamanship, and immersion in one of the world’s most untouched environments.

Exploration diving in Western Caribbean
Romina Bayer
In April I was part of an incredible Crew onboard the S/Y Quest for a Sail and Dive Exploration Cruise in the Caribbean...we sailed from Cartagena, Colombia to Cuba to discover the reefs of Jardin de la Reina, then Jamaica, some of the remotest and untouched banks Morant Bank, New Bank, Serrana Bank, Quita Sueno Bank, Roncador, San Andres and Providencia. This is what it looked like! So grateful for such a unique experience!
Whale Expedition Eastern Caribbean
Eastern Caribbean, 2024-2025
For a season we observed whales in the waters in Eastern Caribbean. Our mornings were early, and the days were shaped by patience, scanning the horizon for a distant blow, adjusting course carefully, and witnessing powerful encounters as whales surfaced, breathed, and disappeared back into the deep. Between sightings, we sailed between islands under steady trade winds. In certain areas where it is permitted, we also had the rare opportunity to enter the water and swim with whales and dolphins.
